Robert,

LOCAL COLOR (Keppel, 1996) is as vigorous and floriferous as anything in
the garden here, which unfortunately does not seem to be true of WILD WINGS
(Keppel, 1999). LC blooms early (Linda Mann, beware!) and stays in bloom a
long time - it bloomed for three full weeks this year. LC is not black, but
rather a deep purple (aubergine - the color of a ripe eggplant), but the
beard is very bright and bushy.
