Will try to do that next year, approximately 1/3 of the tall bearded will be divided approximately mid July with extra rhizomes going to the local sale. It is relatively close however. Thank you for replying.
Another advantage of containers, if I want to rearrange the garden layout, all thats required is to move the containers.

This would make a good article for the AIS Bulletin or TALL TALK.
Take some pictures of the procedure and at bloom time, which you
already have, and submit them and your article to an editor.
