Cool!
I'm interested in learning what the effects of the plant essential oils
in the vinegar mix Roundup substitute are on non-target organisms (above
& below-ground insects, fungi, bacteria, turtles, accidental ingestion
or dermal exposure of pets, wildlife, livestock) as well as rate of
degradation under different conditions (including different soil types -
from highly organic to sand; unexpected downpour of rain within a few
hours of application; high & low temps; etc etc). I've heard of clove
oil being used as an insecticide, so assume any stray bugs would belly
up. Any chance those kinds of information will eventually be on the
website?
I'd enjoy having a sprayed field or sidewalk with the fragrance of
cloves & vinegar! One of the advantages of Roundup is that it's been
researched to death (tho apparently not the additives, unfortunately!).
Do the same testing requirements apply to the plant essential oils?
