I do not grow any spuria except the little species I. graminea
but have heard that in the praire provinces where the soil is
more alkaline and arid, they grow (well?). Try them and see.
They were, to my eye, the most outstanding specimens at the
Denver convention. Tall, colorful and stately. The WOW iris. :)
