Hi all,
SINDJHKA is still blooming, as is
SHAH JEHAN
LORELEY
QUAKER LADY
And although finding ID for UNKnown irises is difficult/maybe
impossible (info may be lost, might have been a bee pod or
someone fooling around with pollen), sometimes you do get a
good ID -- then it's fun. My UNK-MERRY (unknown gotten from
friend Merry) turned out to be SINDJHKA (I bought well-
identified S. to grow and compare flowers).
UNK-LEN-BLUE turned out to be SIERRA BLUE (again, we suspected,
then bought an ID'd one to compare to the UNKnown).
And of course the UNK-BURGUNDY BICOLOR I got from my Ma,
is INDIAN CHIEF.
I now know that UNK-ROSE GORCZYCA, from my mother, is REALLY
close to PRESIDENT PILKINGTON, but isn't.
