Re: Last man standing

Even after two weekends of 90+ temps (very unusual for us), I have two or
three iris still blooming -- or at least they were yesterday.  I don't know
their names, but could try some pics if anyone is interested.
All three are blue or purple.

Many tried but only one could win. The winner here was the only bearded iris

ever (10 years) to have a bloom in June.

The winner at the Burleson Weed/Wildflower Empire was Opal Brown whose last 
bloom demised June 2nd.

This blooms passing was attended by only one mourner (me) along with an over

abundance of obscenely gleeful daylilies.
