I didn't know you guys upm there got that kind of
summer temps.... Len certainly beats you for heat on
the east side of Oregon though.... basically a desert
out there- oh, wait, it is! Beautiful desert tho....
We in Western Oregon's Willamette Valley don't get a
LOT of heat either. A short dry summer usu. We
actually are in quite a dry spell right now- crystal
skies and 91 degrees, supposedly hotter tommorow. Ugh!
Not fun. We don't have AC either... I think you can't
be a REAL northwesterner if you have AC. Or maybe I
just have yankee blood in me.
I notice another thing about iris in this weather-
they fold fast! It's like someone puts the entire
garden on fast forward. Well, at least they survive
without a fast forward on the water too..... at least
mine do.
