Newbie - Hello group!

Hi all -

Just joined the Iris Talk list and wanted to say hi!

I got started in Iris due to my Grandmother, who was an avid Iriser and had 
won many prizes back in Missouri for them.

I have a few now, but hope to expand as I get more open space with 
sunlight, right now the ones I have are in about the only place in my yard 
that gets 6 hours of sun a day.

Curiosity question, I planted quite a few young plants in August of last 
year, the plants are huge, but they have not bloomed this year, (I'm in 
Zone 5, Indiana) Everyone else's up here is blooming, but mine... Is 6 
hours of Sun not enough? Or am I a year too early to expect bloom?
