Dan,
Wind may play a role in this. However, Irises, as well as Daylilies,
some varieties are more prone to have floppy stems than others. What I would
suggest at this time is to get some cheap bamboo stakes somewhere like
Wal-Mart, and stake the bloom stems on them when they start to flop over.
Also, please reconsider leaving this list. It will quite down, and with
those tags, you will be able to delete subjects you are not interested in at
the time.
