I saw the most incredible performance today at the Diamond State Iris
Society beardless show. It was the biggest beardless show we've ever
had. There were 109 entries and 10 exhibitors. Setup started at 8:30AM.
Show setup was complete and ready for judging at 10:25AM, 5 minutes
ahead of schedule.
I was proud of the Show Committee and exhibitors, but then the judges
went to work and put us to shame. We had a panel of two judges. They
were exceptional. Judging was FINISHED at 11:30AM. That's averaging one
specimen ever 33 seconds! The clerk could barely keep up with their
pace. What's even more incredible is that they did a great job! They
didn't miss anything. These are the guys who should be teaching judges
how to judge.
