How interesting, Sam Caldwell was the "Old Dirt Dobber" of radio fame who
took over the CBS gardening radio show after the death in 1949 of the
original ODD, Thomas Williams, my wife's grandfather. We met Sam some years
back at a meeting of the Nashville Pond Society...very enjoyable meeting.

I'm not exactly sure. I did find a letter from
Sam Caldwell addressed to Dr. Craig Ellyson. So I am
only assuming that the book belonged to Dr. Ellyson.
