I was in Harold Stahly's garden at the Michigan Convention of
'76 when a very prominent hybridizer of two Dykes' Medal winners
called that flecking mosaic virus. MD had made a stunning clump
there, but the hybridizer calling it mosaic virus said the plant should
be destroyed.
