Re: CULT: TB Scorch

After some off line discussion with sources of merit it is possible that I
mis diagnosed scorch in my irises. In any event and what ever the technique
in the previous post that I outlined cured the malady. Below I have detailed
the symptoms the iris exhibited:

It is intirely possible that my identification of scorch is erroneous. The
middle leaves of the invected rhizomes had died and were completely brown on
one rhizome with some fading of the green at the base of the outside leaves.
On another, the middle leaves had lost color and were beginning to brown and
lose color but had some light green with the outside leaves having no
apparent stress discoloration. On another they were completly brown and dryed
in the center with the outside leaves appearing unaffected.

I did not pay particular attention to the roots when I dug. Some softness (
but no mush or fowl odor) was observed where the center leaves attached to
the rhizome.
