Story is all true, though abbreviated. I don't believe one of anything very 
harmful and probably in your case binificial. I do see two morals to the 
story. (1) Moderation in all thing is desirable and (2) question all you 
percieve as fact.

Undestand, just because I recognize the two concepts, does not mean they are 
in routine practice here. <g>

Guessing, I would think fish and fish emulsions a good source of urea (time 
release nitrogen).
