Ours bloomed the first year (2002) and even sent up repeat bloom
stalks. It has just opened its first blooms this year and looks

I have had it for three years and am not having much luck with
the newer S/S intros. I lost one of their intros. last year and
maybe another one this year...time will tell. Your climate is
more like Jan and Marty's than mine. Until last year, I had
never lost a Sib. except ERIC THE RED years ago.
I have much better luck with Hollingworth's and Stahly's new
stuff and also Anna Mae's Sibs. They all are Michigan
hybridizers.
Irises, with the exception of some bearded, are taking longer to
reach maturity in this property than our old place. With our
climate, we don't have much growing time so we limp along.
