No! I don't routinely do this! The year was 1991 and I harvested 77 crosses,
many with more than one pod! I was overwhelmed with the sheer number of seed.
(My son graduated High School that spring and started college and my mother
passed away in July) You can't imagine how tired I got just filling mum pots!

There were about 10 of the crosses that I decided to plant 25 seed and save
the rest. The idea was to plant the others when I had less to work with . . . a
bad year. There were several crosses with Summer Olympics as the pod parent
and I thought I'd plant more if I saw anything promising. One of the best
rebloomers I've had was a yellow over lavender from Corn Harvest X Immortality. I
had a 15 foot row and left it ALL when I moved. I have seed from that crossed
onto S.O. Might be interesting to see if I get anything from these seed!

They probably aren't viable any longer, but it would be interesting to see.
At least, it will get the seed out of that box!

Betty W. in South-central KY Zone 6 Don't know that I need to be
going through these old record books. It's too sad! Oh, the things that got away!
(Victoria Falls X Winesap gave 3 rebloomers and I didn't keep any!)
