HYB: still a few chances

Well, I am getting a late "bonus" stalk from Rippling River, so I get one more
chance to get it to accept pollen from Louisa's Song.

Looks like I'll have to wait until next year to get Louisa's Song x Cloud
Ballet to take. Only two Romantic Evening pods set on my last Louisa's Song
stalk; not a total loss but not my first choice. So far, all my attempts for
a blue LS came down to 3 pods this year:
LS X Rippling River
Spouting Horn X LS
Best Bet X LS

I also get one more chance with my wild space-age plicata seedling; a little
10" stalk with only 1 or 2 buds popped up, and if they have pollen a late
Double Click stalk is waiting for it. I hit the first plic stalk with Double
Click pollen on every bud; no takes this time.

A late bloom on Double Dribble X (wild plic sib) is coming; it was just lined
out two months ago so this is a fun surprise. The sib had lesser appendages
(spoons) and luminata-type veining. Also relatively short; also with very
good form (especially for a space-ager). If the new kid is any good, y'all'll
hear in about two weeks. If not, don't ask.

At least I got one take from "wild plic" pollen this spring: Lovely Dawn. I
think Stage Lights missed.
