Dear George:

In our zone 6 display garden, we have found that dividing and replanting soon 
after blooming works well and gives the plants a chance to get well 
established before fall.  The only problem might be if you have a really hot spell 
right after you plant them.  You might want to watch the weather forecasts for 
cooler temperatures and a little rain.  If you can manage something to give a 
little shade for a few days after planting would be beneficial.
