What a great idea! Perhaps some of the hybridizers will do this. I suspect it would cost less than a catalog and it would be wonderful to have
a reference to search if something was mislabeled in the garden. It would also show what the plant can do under garden conditions. It would be an excelent tool for
judges when a question comes up about an iris on the show table.

Some day, wouldn't it be nice if the big hybridizers would offer a CD for sale instead of a paper catalog, with several photos of each iris - a row shot, a clump shot, a stalk shot (maybe of a cut stalk all groomed and in a vase), and a close up. So hard to tell anything about the plant from just a flower close up photo and description. Looking at rows of irises (especially noticed it at Cooley's and Schreiners) the uniformity of performance & overall plant 'character' was easy to see. From photos posted in this forum and catalogs, maybe I'm one of few who wants to see the whole plant.
