True, but I'm a little edgy about applying any pre-emergent directly onto
the foliage of the seedlings. I haven't noticed much, if any, weed invasion
from disturbing the barrier when planting. And then there's the grass and
the morning glories that the pre-emergent doesn't prevent, which you have to
pull anyway.
Snapshot is a very complete pre-emergent barrier, but they added an
ingredient that is very harmful to seedlings, even if you plant them a
couple of years after the soil has been treated. So, since I must rotate
beds, I don't use it any longer. -- Griff
