help - rotten pod stalks



Of course my pod stalks are rotting.  What else.  Somewhere I read that the
seeds may continue to ripen even if the stalk dies before the pods split
open.  Any suggestions as to what to do with them? (setting myself up.....)
 Probably need a cool dry place - maybe I can send them to Alaska ..
