Frank Jones has be living at the Soldiers and Sailors Home in Washington, DC
for the last couple of years. His number is 202 882 2058. A friend has
driven him out to visit our gardens several times this spring. He has lost
all but his peripheral vision, but can really see a lot as he walks around
the garden.
By the way, Diana left yesterday on Dirr and Armitrage's Garden Tour of
Ireland and will be back on June 28. This is her first tour with the
University of Georgia professors, the last 3 years she has gone on the trips
led by J. C. Raulston of the Arboretum of the University of North Carolina at
Raleigh.
