I am foliar feeding the rest of my plants with sea weed, fish emulsion,
epsom salts, liquid humates, blackstrap molasses, and a tad of
baking powder / light weight hort oil for fungus and insect control.
Should I do this to the TB foliage (all bloom is past)? Or will I
encourage rot? The only high N fert is the fish and it's 5-1-1 and
only comprises a hair of the mix.
BTW, a new increase on PICTURE THIS rotted!!! We have had a lot of rain,
too much, what with all the tornadoes. Even if momma rhizome is above
ground, that doesn't guarantee baby rhizomes will create themselves
above ground. This was slightly below. Are new increases more, less
or the same in terms of susceptibility? I hate to see a new flower
rotted in the bud...
