A couple of days ago 'Baltic Star' opened here for the first time since
getting it from Aitkens in '96. Very beautiful and one of the star
attractions since Sunday.
The vigor is incredible. A single rhizome planted last August has at this
time, 8 fans and 5 bloom stalks, two of which have multi-branching. A real
garden animal and a beautiful one also.
