I had to move one of my unknowns only a few days ago, it was falling
over and uprooting itself because the soil was too shallow in that
spot. I am hoping it wasn't too soon to dig it up and move it, but I
didn't really have a choice. I only had two fans and one bloomstalk
from it, and only one rhizome when I dug it up. This is my pretty
mauve-pink one. Hope it survives. (Hope I can get someone in the
know to come see it when it blooms next year so maybe I can find out
what it is!)
As soon my usual digging time comes (usually July or Aug.) I will
have some DOVER BEACH to share. The clump in the back flowerbed is
just too crowded for words, and I only thinned it a couple of years
ago! Be warned, DOVER BEACH is lively!
