Donald, a local hybridizer, M.D. Faith, wrote a blurb about starting TBs
from seed for our newsletter. He says to expect some germination in the
fall, some in the winter and the rest in the spring. That's advice for
Arkansas, which has a long growing season and moderate winters. Since some
of his seeds germinate in fall, I expect that stratification would not be
needed.
