Re: SIB:Indy

I had the first Siberian bloom of the season today - and it was of
course - Indy. It looks great and has many more bloom stalks yet to
open. This is an established clump - probably fourth year. The
Siberians I planted last August are also short and small. They're
alive though and I'll expect more from them next year.

I have better luck with spring transplants. They have more time to
get established.

Some of my three year old clumps are huge and they look great. They
are easily twice as tall as the Japanese iris so far. I'll have to
keep feeding those JI's.

It's an exciting time of year - the gardens are looking good.
