I left out a word which changes the whole meaning of the
sentence...should read, "was planted deeper *than* the TBs,"
etc.
I plant my SIs around 2" below the surface of the soil in a
recessed bed. I do plant some JIs and SIs and other moisture-loving
plants together - they need plenty of room between them however.
