	VAVOOM, an SDB by Allan Ensminger in 'screaming' tones of yellow
won the Cook Cup. Kathy Guest has reported on the President's Cup having
been won by BANGLES, the first time both cups have been awarded to
medians.

	Some spots in various gardens looked like jewel boxes, with these
little fellows really strutting there stuff in an array of mixed colors.
ALADDIN'S FLAME was a runner up and was worthy.  LEMON POP was outstanding
everywhere, and I was surprised it was not listed in the 'also rans.'  I
voted for it for the Cook Cup.

	As an aside, Hal Stahley hand an award-winning of hostas.
