Point of clarification -- there are some varieties that have multiple bloom=
=
stalks on the same rhizome e.g., Celebration Song. These, however, are not =
=
classified as rebloomers. The additional stalks are referred to as =
successive bloom. They extend the bloom season. Rebloomers offer two =
distinct periods of bloom although some varieties bloom continuously in =
some regions.

Arrgh, where are all the experts when we need them???? :>))
Part of this is terminology - I would say that once an increase sends up
a stalk and blooms, it is then called a mother rz because it will not
send up another stalk, but will produce increases. So, the direct
question to the above is no, rebloom stalks grow on new increases.
