dwarf beardeds and hotter climates

Will these just generally not get enough chill hours to bloom? Or would
they actually decline and die?
In other words, I could plant these and wait for the COLD YEARS that
inevitably happen and have bloom. But only if they would survive our
warmer weather.
What is the story here? and would the clumps increase without blooming
during warmer-wintered years?
