CULT: spring freeze survivors

Thanks to Mark and Jeff for adding to my list of potential good performers
here. After the late spring freezes were over, a lot of different cultivars
managed to keep at least one normal stalk thru to the end. I was making
successful crosses on days that started off with heavy frost. 130 (out of
about 270 living varieties) tried to bloom, and 84 had one or more normal
stalks and blooms. Only 3 were killed after the blooms were open (Classico
was nailed by the last freeze in May after one stalk had opened normally).
Here they are - mostly TBs. * means did well this year. Others were either
one year plants or did not produce many stalks. Quite a few are old, one or
two are newish. Stairway to Heaven looked really good 3 places I saw it from
east to middle Tennessee. Shirley M was spectacular at Phil Williams'.
