We are in Zone 7 USDA, and Zone 10 Sunset. I have absolutely no problem
with SDB's blooming or reblooming. MDB's however are another problem.
Until we moved them into a raised bed we had little or no bloom from
them. Once moved they have begun to bloom and are much happier. The
theory here is that the raised beds get colder due to the exposure. The
bed is not in the ground to help keep it from freezing. Whatever, it
seems to be working. By the way, the bed is raised 12".
