Everyone,
There is presently a committee, I believe headed by E. Roy Epperson, to
revise the Judges Handbook. Perhaps someone should let him know of the
vagueness of whether an iris can be registered or registered/introduced
for entering the Horticulture section of a show.
On page A-19 it is clear concerning an iris for AIS awards. "An
officially registered and introduced iris in any of the established
classifications listed becomes eligible for the Honorable Mention (HM)
Award the second year after its year of introduction ot commerce."
