In a message dated 97-06-17 00:10:15 EDT, you write:
<< So here are these seed pods -- do I or don't I want to leave them on the
stalks? Since we're agreed that rebloomers, to perform as such if
they're going to, need more water & feed than "regular" SDB/TB's,
doesn't it follow that these pods will use up energy best put into
blooming? >>
Makes sense to me. I would remove them. You can do it by very carefully
snapping them out at the base of the ovary. It's good to support the stalk
from behind with one hand as you take them out, as it's quite possible to
break out the next bud accidentally. If you deadhead this way, you will not
get the seed pods forming.
Good luck with rebloom!
