RE: HIST- Older varieties CD-ROM

I'll second that notion!

Barb, in Santa Fe, where I actually got this computer last year in order to 
make a picture file of all the irises I could so we could take it to shows, 
etc.  Then I found out how much space it would eat on my hard drive, and 
decided, "never mind"

Wouldn't it be nice of HIPS had a picture inventory on a CD-ROM? 

I agree with everything Anner said but would like to suggest that we
also do it for species.  There are only about 400 species and major
varieties or subspecies so that it would not be a monumentous job.
