It's considered netiquette to quote, then respond, so people can
remember what you are referring too.

The problem isn't putting the question before the answer, but the fact
that many people do not attempt to trim down the quoted text and merely
blast the entire original question across.

It is also considered netiquette to trim posts to the essentials, to
only give enough background to let the readers understand what you are
addressing.

See, jumping down past your two lines to my many isn't that painful.
