RE: ID's please - HELP, Howard

Kathy--you'll probably get this list filled completely soon, as these are all
relatively easy to find, so I'll just fill in the ones I know offhand. Barb

Subject: ID's please - HELP, Howard

"Happy" iris folks.... and especially Howard Hughes if he manages to read his
mail at all. I had a woman speak with me at our iris show saying that her
irises are hopelessly scrambled because she never labeled them, then she
moved - twice! BUT, she does have the names. Naturally, I suggested that
she name them by process of elimnation BUT.. this will not help her, since
SHE HAS NO DESCRIPTIONS with the names she has!

...as Ricky Ricardo would say... ai yi yi.

So... being a good samaritan (even though I can't spell it), I told her to
give me her list and I'd research her plants... give her descriptions and
everything would be beautiful. Last night I got home to an ENORMOUS list and
I'm rather overwhelmed. SO if anyone can plug in a description or two... OR
if Howard can give me the registration year (so I can look it up myself) I
would be grateful.

AND.... I WILL insist this woman join... in a nice way.
