CLARENCE opened a beautiful flower up this morning and was
followed by I. pallida variegata (Aurea) about noon.
We still have 3 IBs and 5 SDBs blooming and still only 2 Siberians
but loads on the way. INDY is out of this world and SNOW PRINCE
is very tall. The registered height is 34" but one of my bloom-
stalks is 42". The shortest bloomstalk is 37" on S.P. INDY is
registered at 32" and my tallest bloomstalk is 39" with the
average being about 36".
I don't know what CLARENCE is registered at but mine is 37"
and I. pallida is 24".
Best fragrance so far is a toss-up between two IBs - HOT FUDGE
and CANDY FLOSS (which smells like a rose to me). H.F. smells
delicious but can't describe the smell...hmmmm, maybe fudge.:)

DITTO (MDB) opened up its last bloom with 2 falls but 3 standards
so I guess this is not uncommon?
