There is a tree in the South, bois d'arc, that some people
pronounce like the above or bodock, which is a nuisiance, especially if
you get the one that has 'horse apples'. What a mess! The bark is very
hard and is difficult to cut or trim. When this tree gets old, storms can
tear it up like a mimosa!!! Two trees that are horrible, IMHO!
