I also saw the photo of JUDY MOGIL and was surprised but chalked it up to
my inexperience with iris.

Imagine my surprise when I visited a local garden where a friend of mine
sells iris, only to see a stalk with huge flowers of IMPERSONATOR blooming.
 I'll tell you I did a double take!!  This iris looks like a Japanese iris
and you can't help but just stare at it.  The falls appear to 'flop' or
fold outward when the blossom is fully out so there were some on the stalks
that appeared 'normal' and then there were the floppies...most unusual. I
have mixed emotions about this iris and I ended up concluding that it
wasn't for me, but obviously there are those that do because she certainly
sells a lot of them.
