Its not the exactly same thing as the Pantone color charts but similar
in that it is a standard frame of color reference. It is designed
specifically for use in the description of color in horticulture. The
set is composed of 202 cards each of which bears four shades of a single
color. Colors are numbered with the four shades of color intensity each
assigned a letter, A, B, C, D. The color intensity goes from A the
strongest, to D the palest.
I believe that you can order them direct from England and at one time
you could get them from the AIS.
