Hi Talk-ers!
The Historic TB luminata PRETTY PANSY (Sass, '46) bloomed here today. I
like the way that the distinctly contrasting colors of medium violet and
milky white clearly define and showcase the complex and attractive pattern.
An added feature of interest to me is the slight asymmetry in the pattern
with detectably heavier white veining on the left side of the falls and
right side of the standards. The flowers of PP have better than average
size, form, and durability for its era, too.
