Carryl,
We have had all of the above weather today, but our show was also today.
The hail started coming down a half hour after we finished the judging.
The Best Specimen at the 1999 Logan Iris Society Iris Show was a stalk of
STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN (next year's Dykes Medallist?) exhibited by Jared
Harris. The Runner-up for Best Specimen was a stalk of ORANGE CREAMO
(Muhlestein, '53), which was also Best Historic Iris and also exhibited by
Jared Harris. Jared also won the Horticultural Sweepstakes (Silver Medal)
with yours truly second (Bronze Medal).
