Michellle, MDBs along a curving brick sidewalk would be beautiful!  MDBs
really are value priced for the blooms they give and the smaller cash outlay
to purchase them.  They are made to order to show off in early spring in
front of your brick sidewalk (wish I had one!).  Do keep in mind that many
MDBs make good size clumps quickly and they will not compete with other
plants, so please be sure not to crowd them or plant other things that will
cast deep shade over them.  They are charming with some of the smaller,
wilder bulbs (think rock garden).  If you like more modern plants, try them
with mini roses and verbena.  Violets are pretty too, but are too
competitive and downright invasive here.
