The Raspberry Awards:
Given to irises which went thru a

GOOD SHOW - say what? Say when? Where?
NO SHOW would be
a better name so far. OKLAHOMA CRUDE - no gusher
here. BLUE
CHEER hasn't given any cheer of any color. PALAZZO
- sunk in the
canals of Venice for all I can tell. CODICIL will
sure need the rest of
its last will and testament at this rate.
PINK HORIZON remains beyond
the horizon.
Sorry to disagree with
Donald. I obtained GOOD SHOW in 1997. Both 1998 and 1999 I
have had very good bloom. A fellow employee challenged me with the
statement that she had no orange TB iris in her yard and did not think there
were any iris a true orange color. Well ..... I checked out a
couple catalogues and came up with Oktoberfest, Orange Harvest and GOOD
SHOW. I still like my Orange Parade the best though. A Dodge
Citians 50 miles east of me made the statement that they had trouble growing
orange iris. Input from another Region 18
member.
