Thank's everyone, for the warm welcome to the iris-list,I really appreciate the e-mails.Jan,yes I kind of went off the deep end,and after this summer,I will have to cut down on my iris purchases,space is now limited, but what a start! Maureen,as for my plans for hybridizing, my first cross, was just to see if I did it right,(unknownXRockstar) and it took. As for the others, and future crosses, I would mainly like to work with Rebloomers,and red iris's, I sure love red flowers, but pinks, and lavenders are high on the list too. As for the pod parents I have, are, the before mentioned unknown,BREAKERS,OKTOBERFEST,CONJURATION,and last but not least SPRING IMAGE. Walter,I haven't joined the Ft.Worth Iris society yet, but I will soon. Cindy,WOW! What a garden you must have,take care of yourself, and have a wonderful summer.Oops! Another long listing, sorry John, I will shorten them from now on, I promise.
