For some reason, I think that Louisiana Irises and alligators go well
with each other. Several times I tried to get a close up look at the native
stand of Irises, and every time, there laid that reason for a hasty retreat.
I have a fake alligator in the garden. It is concrete, but was
hand-crafted locally. So, it looks very real, and has caused some people to
do double takes.
