Re: TB: BELVI QUEEN

From: "Donald Eaves" <donald@eastland.net>

Hello Folks,

Well, well! BELVI QUEEN bloomed today in the grasshopper bed.
It didn't bloom last fall or this spring, so is this rebloom or what?
Whatever, it is an anomaly for this time of year. Looks pretty good
in spite of all the heat. Which makes me wonder about the late
spring bloomers which suffer lots of dried up buds. Does the cool
weather when they form the bud stalks cause the buds to go into
a kind of shock when the temps soar before blooming, causing the
buds to dry up, maybe?
