Oooooh yes we do! Or I should say I do!
I often marvel at this hobby of mine.... how deep and broad it is and how it
satisfies on so many levels...
There is is artistic/creative level, the intellectual level, education,
teaching, sweating (or I guess women 'glow'), and the thrill of success.
And that's just the flower...
I've made some of my best friends through irises, and found some
extraordinary people through irises and have been exposed to some marvelous
talents through irises.
And - indirectly - I've grown personally and professionally through
irises.... and expanded my horizons to the ends of the earth.
And.... no matter what's gone awry in my life, I can solve it by grabbing my
trowel and digging in the dirt for an hour.
The only down side...
